By default Tacey checks the shipping address on orders to every country. If you only want some destinations checked, you can pick them, right down to individual states or provinces. Turning a country off never blocks a sale. Orders there still go through; they just do not get an address check.
Where the setting lives
In Tacey, open Editing Tools from the left-hand menu.
Click the Global settings tab.
Scroll to Which countries to check.
At the top of that section, Tacey reminds you: "Orders to a region you turn off here still ship. They just won't get an address check. Turning a region off never blocks a sale."
The three choices

How to pick countries
Under Which countries to check, choose Only check these countries or Check everywhere except these countries.
A Countries section appears. Click Edit countries.
In the Which countries to check window, type in Search countries to find a country, then tick it. Select all shown ticks everything in your current search, and Clear all unticks everything.
To pick only part of a country, click Scope to specific states/provinces next to it and tick the states or provinces you want. Click Hide states/provinces to close the list.
Click Save in the window.
Your picks appear as chips under Countries. Click the small remove button on a chip to take it off.
Click Save in the save bar at the top of the page.

How states and provinces work
Only check these countries: picking a whole country checks all of it. Picking only California checks California orders and nothing else in the United States.
Check everywhere except these countries: excluding a whole country skips all of it. Excluding only California skips California, and the rest of the United States is still checked.
If an order arrives without a state or province, Tacey decides based on the country alone.
What happens to orders you do not check
The order goes through checkout and ships as normal.
It appears on your Orders page with Not checked in the Address check column.
On the Analytics page, it is counted under Outside your checked regions, separately from real problems.
Your customer can still use every self-service tool you have switched on, including editing their address, inside your edit window.
What this does NOT do
It does not stop you shipping to a country. Your shipping zones in Shopify decide where you ship.
It does not hide Tacey from customers in those countries. Only the address check is skipped.
It does not go back and check older orders when you switch a country on. Checks apply to new orders from then on.
It does not show skipped orders as Verified. An address Tacey did not check is always marked Not checked.
Frequently asked
Do orders to countries I switched off still count toward my plan?
Yes. Each new order with a shipping address counts once, whether or not Tacey checks it.
Why would I switch a country off?
For example, if you only care about catching bad addresses where your returns are most expensive, or a country's check is only area-level and you do not want those results on your Orders page.
