Tacey shows every order's address check result in four places: the Orders page, your dashboard, the Analytics page, and as a tag on the order in Shopify.
1. The Orders page
Open Orders in Tacey. As the page says: "Every order Tacey has checked, and what happened to its shipping address."
Each row shows the Order, Customer, Shipping address, Date and Address check result: Verified, Needs attention, Undeliverable, Checking or Not checked.
Use the Address check filter to see, for example, only orders that need attention.
Use the search box, Search by order number or customer, to find one order.
Click View on a row to see more about that order, including any part of the address that did not confirm, such as "Not confirmed by the address check: street, postal code."
Orders where the customer chose to keep their own address after a warning are marked Customer kept address.
Before your first real order, the Orders page shows example orders under a Sample data banner, so you can see the layout. Those are not real orders.
2. Your dashboard
The dashboard's Last 30 days section sums up how address checks are going, including:
Addresses verified: orders whose address Tacey checked and confirmed.
Clean rate: the share of checked addresses that came back usable.
Undeliverable caught: addresses confirmed bad before the parcel shipped. A higher number is better, because each one is a delivery that would have failed.
The Validation results this window chart splits checked orders into Clean or auto-corrected and Needs a look, and shows All clear when nothing needs a look.
3. The Analytics page
Open Analytics for the bigger picture:
Addresses checked over time, one point per day for the last 30 days.
What the checks found, for addresses Tacey was able to check.
What happened to each address, including Outside your checked regions and Address service did not answer.
Countries producing the most addresses that need a look.
Addresses with a suggested fix, showing how often the check came back with a different address from the one the customer typed.
4. Tags on the order in Shopify
Tacey adds a tag to checked orders in your Shopify admin:
`tacey-validated` when Tacey is confident about the address
`tacey-check-address` when the address is worth a look
You can filter your Shopify orders list by these tags, or use them to route orders in Shopify Flow. Orders Tacey did not check get neither tag.
What this does NOT do
Results do not hold or cancel any order. They are information for you and your customer.
Unchecked orders are never shown as Verified, on any of these pages.
Sample orders are not real. They disappear from view once real orders arrive.
Frequently asked
An order shows "Checking". How long does that take?
Usually moments. The check runs in the background right after the order is placed. Reload the page.
I cannot find an order on the Orders page.
Orders appear once Shopify has told Tacey about them and the check has been recorded. Orders placed before you installed Tacey are not on the page.
